Matte wrap or not?

This is a little delayed. Thanks for everyone's comments. It's started to grow on me. I also went by the SC and took some comp pics. In addition to the stealth, they wrapped the piano black on the bumper with a stealth that had a slight texture (not sure the term for that).

Looks great! Were you happy with your decision to do the matte wrap in the end?

I think it looks good. Made me look up what satin white looks like on the R1T. I think I need it. Dang it, now I need to spend another $4.5k on satin ppf.

In the end, I love it. I've had several compliments and it's so easy to keep clean - no water spots. I guess it just took time to get over the shock of it not being what I 'thought' it would look like. Thanks all!

Have driven both, still has so much tire. 22's are still very smooth. The performance tires are worth getting, improved tire noise levels and handling.

The owner is a great guy, real skilled, high quality shop and very popular here. This is the 5th wrap he's done for me. He previewed it by taking a large piece, sprayed water on the hood and pressed the wrap to it and smoothed it out. He did the same with when I did the white. Of course, no need to preview the standard finish

I thought about doing matte ppf on the yellow. We applied a sample piece and I didn't care for it. Looks good on the green. I powder coated the wheel satin black. I think that they look much better.

Glad you took the comparison shots. I prefer the non matte wrap green. But I’m glad that it’s growing on you. If anything it looks a bit like LG
