Manual tonneau cover for R1T has arrived!

Ahhh good news. I recently checked with my guide, no date for powered but maybe if the manual was before mid-summer maybe... Just maybe....

One can hope. If that powered fix takes any longer, a goodwill gesture could be to send everyone with a broken PTC a manual one until the fix is out.

Wonder if they're shipping in order of deliveries. I was end of March 2023, but as someone who actually wanted the powered tonneau, I'd really like my manual one ASAP.

Does it work if you have the PTC? I don't think it would. Two problems come to mind:

1) The PTC has "caps" that block the tracks at the tailgate end. You couldn't slide the manual cover into place.
2) The PTC "sticks out" a little bit at the cab end, even when fully retracted. Assuming the manual cover is designed to "seal" the bed -- and we have no reason to think otherwise -- it will be too long for use with the PTC.

I just confirmed with my guide that they have indeed begun shipping out, but he has no way of knowing how or priority of delivery. I'm sure they are just picking names out of a hat at this point

I bought my R1T preowned and at the time of purchase, reached out to my guide about changing the address on file for when the tonneau cover shipped. They let me know at that time that there was no way to do so but to reach back out when I found out they were going out. I'm guessing at this point that they just ended up shipping to the previous owner

I just emailed my guide as I'm in the same situation. Though I don't know if mine was originally equipped with the manual tonneau (no original window sticker)

That said, I'd also happily buy it off the gear shop if they put it on there.

I'd be curious for those that are getting it now what situation they were in when they ordered the manual cover. For example, I ordered my R1T from the shop with a 2/15 delivery date. The cover was NOT in the shop configuration, but my guide added it to the config for me and I paid for it. I checked my UPS account and I do not have anything coming. Trying to make sense of what order they are going in...

It's not in the Shop yet.. it's only shipping to customers who ordered their R1T with "Manual Tonneau" option.
