Lucid per car loss is crazy

LCD needs a more popular product. Their tech is great but sedans are out and have been for a while. They need crossovers and SUV.

They could probably survive like this forever as long as they have that Saudi money coming in.

Luckily for Rivian too.

Still, I don't see Lucid surviving long term unless they change their market. Their new minivan is a start.

Incumbent upscale brands have caught up and have them beat on service, price, and features. Lucid doesn't have a unique enough offering, or customer base, to make them an attractive buyout. Saudi pockets are deep, but not endless.

Rivian's loss is going down though. The trend is loss per vehicle is getting better where as Lucid is getting worse.

The problem is simple, they can't find enough buyers at the price point, even with a substantial dip in pricing on the entry Air.

The Gravity is an absolute winner for them, especially if it is truly an $80K 410 mile range vehicle. As everyone has noted, if there wasn't the Saudi endless bank roll, they would already be done. They are going backwards financially.
