I'm looking to do tire changes and running board install at home, so I'd like to be able to jack up one whole side of the truck safely.

Once you have the Rivian jacked up using pucks, how are folks using jack stands to keep the entire side elevated/stable? Most jack stands have "curved" saddles that don't look like they could hold a jack puck. Is there another stable jack point tha can be used?
I contemplated the same when I was about to do my 1st tire rotation. Ultimately, I just bought another hydraulic floor jack and didn't bother w/ the jack stands. #SimpleSolution

It was a good choice, I think floor jacks would probably save me 5 minutes a side over the jack stands.

Exactly. Although my wife gave me a hard time for the amount of $$$ ($400+) I spent to DIY rotate my tires between the magnetic jack pucks, another floor jack, torque wrench, and wheel dolly.

I really only DIY rotated them twice before I got a new set of Michelin tires which came with the 50k mile tread warranty that requires proof of tire rotation every 7,500 miles, so now I just pay Pep Boys $9.99 since their receipt is my proof.

Of course every time I take it in to Pep Boys now I have to hear about how much $$$ I wasted to DIY rotate my tires; however, I'm self-employed and write off the business miles percentage of my R1S actual expenses, so my reply is always #BusinessExpense. ;-)

As long as it's a 2 way street, it should be all good.

Ours is also a shared pot, but neither of us make a big deal about what the other spends because we're both pretty thrifty.

Ha! You elevated yourself above mere mortals when you used that term “wheel dolly”.

Like @Count Orlok ‘s electrified mouse grid in his castle’s carriage house.
