Rivian R1T R1S iOS 3.11.0 app version released 1776194106210-zk
New iOS 3.11.0 app. I’m enjoying the UI updates with this one. little feature they added is to say when passive entries is disabled at home. However, the app now thinks that the charge port is left open, even though the car is plugged in and fully charged.

Car is plugged in, but went to sleep and battery is full. It doesn’t seem to think that it is still plugged in until I unlock the car.

I’ve had this same issue, but before this latest app update. Noticed it over the last couple of weeks.

I love the new app, but the notification dot at the top is inverted from how it should be. Muffin has a service appointment/active notification, not Bluey (And no it’s not the cabin temp warning).

edit: just worked it out - it displays the notification dot on all ‘tabs’ other than the one with an active notification. If there’s a bug it’s almost the inverse of what I originally said - hitting the wrench icon at the bottom shows nothing despite having a dot there.

I like the look of the revised app well enough but a very minor gripe is they took away the option to turn on the heated steering wheel and seat remotely, which I was using all the time in the winter before walking out of my office. I have poor circulation in my hands and that warm steering wheel was a real plus. Hope they bring that option back.

That option is still there for me. Would have been odd to take functionality away. Make sure you are not on chill which then only shows the ventilated seats option.

Maybe that's the issue, the warmer air temps hiding that function. I'll have to look for it on a cold morning, thanks.

The Android version 3.11.0 has also been released. It's dated 9 April, but I don't know if it's actually been available since then.

I updated my android version and I gotta say, other than the floating pill at the bottom and the vehicle icon at the top left, and swiping between vehicles, I'm having trouble seeing much difference between this and the previous version. Yes, it looks just like the iOS screenshots posted above before anyone says maybe the Android version didn't get the same update.

Maybe that's all that's new anyway 🤷🏻‍♂️

Being able to swipe between cars is so nice. I wish they would support concurrent connections to all cars on your profile, but I'll take this for now...

They've been slowly moving towards some common design elements with the vehicle software. The floating pill as you call it is also going to be part of the new in-vehicle UI design, instead of the fixed black bar across the top of the screen. That and the rounded-corner layered and tiled look for all the panes is very similar to what we're going to see in the new vehicle UI in a few months.

There's a video with Wassym demonstrating this new UI in an R2 at the SXSW event.
