Not saying its the same kind of marking... but I viewed my R1T at the local service center a few days ahead of my Delivery pickup. It had just transited to there and was unloaded and sitting outside of building in the back. I saw several yellow crayon like marks on it (at least half dozen) that were Arrows pointing to gap issues. So this was pre-PDI done there at the center. when I picked it up a few days later that was all gone with no evidence of it. So it seems that the "Final" inspectors in IL will find things they are purposefully passing along to the local center to address during the real final PDI in that shop.

This is asinine. It's a $90,000 brand new vehicle. Zero excuse for Rivian to deliver a truck like this. Whatever the soultion is, we shouldn't be dealing with these obvious QC problems. No one checked this truck before delivery. It's that simple

Noticed the strangest thing on the side of my truck today. In the right light, you can see that someone at Rivian wrote on the side of my truck prior to delivery. It says “Door Jam Dented” with an arrow.

Upon close inspection I can see small rub scratches from them trying to get it off. Who the hell writes on a vehicle? I tried to wipe it off with a wet microfiber but that didn’t work - anyone have any tips - looks like it’s in clear coat?
