Hyundai Plug-In Car Sales Reach New Record In October 2021
I got the same email too. I called the dealer I had my reservation assigned to and they couldnāt even find my order, sounds like itās going to be a first come first serve basis and doesnāt really even matter that you put a reservation down. Process is pretty disappointingJust got my ioniq Email this morning about steps forward, basically the $100 lets you be in contact with a dealership but does not gurantee any allocation or anything.
As an IONIQ 5 Insider, we promised that you would receive the latest vehicle information as soon as it is available. Weāre excited to announce that production of the 2022 IONIQ 5 has officially started and vehicles will begin arriving at select dealerships in the coming weeks. Pricing will start at an MSRP of $39,700.1
As inventory begins to arrive, weāll connect you to the dealership to finalize your vehicle purchase or to have them help you locate a similar vehicle if an exact match is not available. Once your information is shared with the dealer, you will receive a confirmation email with the necessary details. Please know that incoming inventory will be made available on a first-come, first-served basis, determined by reservation date.
The 2022 IONIQ 5 will be available in Winter 2021 in AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, IL, ME, MD, MA, NJ, NY, OR, PA, RI, TX, VT, VA and WA. Additional state availability coming in Spring/Summer 2022.
Finally, please remember, your pre-reservation deposit gives you early visibility into incoming inventory of the 2022 IONIQ 5, but is not a vehicle order or purchase, does not guarantee availability of the requested configuration and package options, or delivery of vehicle.2
They're running out of "winter 2021". Seems to be a lot of that going around. ?Just got my ioniq Email this morning about steps forward, basically the $100 lets you be in contact with a dealership but does not gurantee any allocation or anything.

I don't even know if my reservation is assigned to a dealer, there is nothing on my email about it. At this point, I do not plan on buying an Ioniq 5 anyway. Part of me likes the styling., but part of me thinks they went overboard with it also.I got the same email too.
