How often does your Infotainment reset on its own?

I’ve been noticing an increase in frequency of the truck resetting itself. This is noticeable when the efficiency meter (15-min) resets, and the center screen reloads apps as you enter them - including, annoyingly, re-importing all contacts from the phone.

It happened twice today.

Anyone else seeing an increase in this behavior?

Not asking about the phone app - the truck itself is resetting. I don’t care about the app much either.

When I say phone app I mean the phone app on the infotainment system. Which is what I assume you meant by reloading contacts

Only resets I get is from a new software update. But never have to reload contacts.

Oh ha - of course, thx for clarifying.

I only care if I’m making a call, otherwise the car’s phone app is pretty hopeless.

I got to watch the startup screen the other day after the truck sat for a few days. Haven't had that in quite a while.

Otherwise, seems like maybe once every two weeks I'll have to reset my seat heat/cool preference to cool. Strange it defaults to heat when it's 70 degrees ambient.

I can’t recall mine ever resetting itself, but you’re not the only one who has brought this up recently.

About 1x per week for me. Tell tale indicator is the efficiency meter being reset.

I think it's the Rivian Gnomes playing tricks on us.

I'd say once a week I see that the efficiency graph is completely reset (blank) when I get into the truck.

I'd say once every 3 weeks things like the hotspot just magically decided to be toggled off when I typically just leave it on constantly.

Then little things happen. Like 3 days ago I was leaving for work at o-dark-thirty and my auto-high beams weren't working. I had to get into the vehicle settings to re-enable them. I for SURE would've remembered digging through those menus to disable them, so I'm going to go ahead and say it was the gnomes!

I also typically leave up the nifty little ride settings page with all of the telemetry and ride data on the right hand side. Completely randomly (without any real interval), upon startup it'll be on the vehicle graphic page instead of showing me that cluster, so I have to swipe over again....
