Any owners notice any hood flutter when they hit 60mph or over?

It reminds me of a tight canvas cover on a trailer or truck bed where the wind makes the surface move.

Our vehicle was sent to a SC in Atlanta where they attempted a fix (something was mentioned about a part delaminating and something applied to bond it back. It didn't fix the issue. It's not terrible but I have never owned a vehicle with this kind of motion/flutter in the hood.

Yes same thing happens on mine. Very weird but I’m pretending it doesn’t bother me so I don’t have to give the truck up to service center (currently there now)

Some vehicles (rarely) experience this. It's not "as designed". I'd ask service to take another crack at it.

Barely does it. They can try to fix it by putting more sealer between the supports and the skin but it won't eliminate it.

Mine too. It’s disconcerting.

I first noticed it on an old Out of Spec Kyle video. Thought it was his GoPro mount, but now I know it was his hood.

Mine has a bit of play but I blame it more on my hood having more of a gap on the driver's side than the passenger side and catching more wind. Something that is part of a current support ticket I have open.

Oh, and if you want disconcerting, drive a Jeep Wrangler for a while. My hood had about 1.5" of play that it would bounce (esp when passing or getting passed by a large semi). ;)

Totally agree! I had a JL Rubicon before my R1T and the hood flutter on that was so bad :CWL:. I guess I can say it makes me appreciate the "minimal" hood flutter on my R1T now #perspective

Haven't noticed it while driving - but definitely noticed in a car wash - during the blow-dry phase, I was worried it was going to break!

Oh hell, just another thing I didn't notice but NOW will obsessively watch until it drives me to: let Rivian have a "crack" at it (based on history means out of my driveway for 3 weeks); go insane: sell the truck...

I had the work order sent to me, it says 1200.00. I hope it's a mistake or will be zeroed out.

If not then I'll assume its for transport fee and if that is indeed the case I will put my truck up for sale the second I get confirmation. I am not paying for them to pick up my truck to fix something that is obviously a defect. Again, if that's what's going on.

Before I get too indignant I want to confirm that is actually the case. I'll update once I find out the deal.
