Had the flutter since owning it and didn't think much of it. Now it jus turned into a permanent indent. Thinking temp changes from driving from warm garage through winter storm temps on the freeway caused the flutter to become a permanent indent/maybe? Dunno but service center seems to be blowing me off, possible they think a large orb landed on my hood. Anyone had the bowl indent stay put and anyone get it successfully addressed?

I've also got a permanent dent just a little behind the hood emblem. Haven't brought it up with Rivian yet. May just take it directly to a body shop.

My hood used to flutter a lot, and I looked at the gaps and how it didn’t sit square. There are at least 3 adjustment points one can mess with for hood placement, the latch (hardest to get to and most difficult to make small adjustments), front bumpers (which stop the hood from pulling down farther, most cars have these), and hinge adjuster screws (change height at the rear of the hood).
It took an hour and about 10-15 times opening and closing the hood but mine doesn’t flutter so much now. And it’s square to the fenders. Much less time than 5-hr round trip to the SC.

My hood was already adjusted pretty well so I added some weather stripping across the front (butted up against the removable frunk trim with the adhesive face stuck to the top of the light bar). That help quite a bit. Passing an oncoming semi truck on a 2 lane road no longer looks like the hood is going to rip off.

The service center was able to add some additional adhesive and it fixed my hood flutter. Still no flutter after a couple of years.
