We use the frunk in the R1 several times per week, since it’s powered it’s easier to use than for example a vehicle like the Mach E. R2 frunk while not fully powered does seem like a very usable solution at the price point.

There has been no indication of Rivian doing this anywhere.

I have used ChargePoint, Wallbox, and Tesla. I prefer Wallboxes’user interface which allows multiple users. Also it can be hardwired or use 14-50 so it’s versatile. Costco’s CS and return policies are excellent and I would have purchased there if they had them 2 years when I purchased.

Congrats, also love the R1S with Red Canyon it’s such a dynamic color. Rivian Blue was my second choice for the R1S

I can confirm that estimate from factory tour.

I’ve seen a couple of the Rivian’s loaners and they seem to have issues that led to them being loaners. I suspect they were factory gated or ones they didn’t sell to customers so maybe not the best representation.

In the past if RC wasn’t in the drop right away, it would be there not long after a big drop.

Honestly I had the R1T and I was impatient so totally get it. So much refreshing, but I was hoping to luck into a LE. Everyday Rivian gets better at building them…

Not sure why you would spend the xtra money, unless you just need a vehicle now. Just wait for LE to come up or get your LE when it’s ready .

They previously have moved to local SC inventory when they have large shop numbers for a few days.

Yes for certain there are many still built to order and delivered that way, they are not dumped into the shop till the original reservation cancels. This last month was about getting them out for the quarter. I have not seen mention of vegan leather on a R1S yet. Hopefully soon. ?
