I just stopped at my first Tesla Supercharger and I’m in awe. 217kw … plug and charge, absolutely seamless. I’m driving across the country next month and this will be a game changer.

Why the exclamation point? That's what you should expect to get. I get that all the time at EA, RAN, and even once when I charged at an EVGo.

Just curious, which adapter did you use? I’ve got an A2Z coming this weekend, and a long road trip in a few weeks. Couldn’t wait for Rivian’s adapter.

For plug and charge, did you have to have the Tesla App or does it work that way with the Rivian account? Thx much JB

Plug and charge worked great when I tried it out a week ago.

If you have a subscription to Tesla, I believe you will need to initiate from the app first.

Awesome for you, here in Florida we never see those speeds at EA. Not on our R1 or Taycan - thus, the exclamation mark.
Now is the time for the Teslaratis to get ready for war. I assume with the high speeds of charging, you'll frequent these locations more than the other charging stations! ;)

Looking at use a tesla charger that supports CCS (in Michigan) and wondering if the 'plug and charge' will work the same way OR will I need to setup a tesla account to pay for the charge? can anyone chime in this from previous experience?

Plug and charge works, if you intend to use it, remember, you have to hold the button on the handle for two seconds, then push up before you pull the cable out. That's the only way to get the CCS adapter without the app.
