Finally, a good sun shade for the R1S!

I’ve been hunting for a sunshade for my S, as the sun’s been really harsh during the day. I found this one on Amazon.

I was a bit apprehensive since it doesn’t have any reviews, but, I just installed it and it does the job! I’m happy. Let me know if you have any questions.

Any pics of it installed? Does it cover both glass panels or just the front panel?

No pictures yet, I'm away from the vehicle for a bit. If it helps, it looks exactly like how the picture is on the Amazon listing. That made me buy it, pretty much.

Wouldn't you want a reflective top since black absorbs the heat? Or is that bad for the glass?

I have installed the sunshade that Kenmecca above posts link in my R1T. Live in Hawaii. Good product for price. Easily removable. Material difference interior heat. I did not need clips for R1T install and it fits fine.

The top is reflective actually. It has the shiny side on it that does it.

I bought the Hanshow version, looks the same. Was tough to get in with one pets, doesn’t sag, but also blocks 100% of light. It is not a mesh type commonly found for Teslas.

I bought this and it doesn't work out too well. The clips that supposed to hold up the shade don't hold it up very well and feel super unstable. Did not even attempt to drive with it. I think the Evsports one with the magnet would work better.
