Just got mine today.....looks solid, can't wait to use it next Saturday on my Drive from Portland to Yakima (Via Bellevue). Does the discount code also work for the Level 2 adaptor? ( I was thinking I might need one for destination chargers)......... ? ?
Thanks.
I used the discount code on the combo DC and Level2.

Unfortunately I already bought the A2Z Typhoon (NACS to CCS1), so I don't believe I can use the "COMBO" discount. Maybe @MidnightRivian may have a suggestion? as I need to order the Tesla to J1772 adaptor. TIA

You still can get 10% off with any of the known codes:

I purchased the A2Z EV Typhoon Plug Tesla NACS Supercharger to CCS1 Charging Adapter
Save your money
Isn't supported by Rivian so you can't use it at a Tesla Supercharger
Furthermore I was told its use would void my Rivian Warranty
Guess I have a very solid appearing paperweight

Maybe a paperweight to you, but to others it's a perfectly functional NACS to CCS adaptor that you bought but have decided not to use ?ā€ā™‚

ā€œisn’t supportedā€ - are you saying it didn’t charge your vehicle, or that there is a notice on the web site that ā€œ3rd party adapters are not supportedā€. These are two different statements. If you were unsuccessful charging, are you sure that you were at a Tesla Supercharger station that supported NACS to 3rd party vehicles? Only about half of the total Tesla sites were opened to other vehicles. You can see the map at https://www.tesla.com/findus and having ā€œSuperchargers Open to Other EVsā€ being the only tag selected on.

if you’re talking about the fact that Tesla and a Rivian have said don’t use 3rd party adapters and are concerned about running afoul with that, I’m curious why you spent money on the adapter. This statement was well known since it was announced that Rivian could charge at SOME of the Tesla Supercharger sites.

Regarding warranty, itā€˜s not an immediate voiding of your warranty. The vendor has to prove that the 3rd party option caused an issue. Granted, this does add complexity to any potential warranty claims, but it is not a blanket statement of the warranty being void. Many people have successfully used the adapter that you have.

if you still do not want to use it, sell it! There is a for sale section here on the forum and there’s always eBay. Even once Rivian/Tesla have distributed the free adapters, there will still be a secondary market for all these 3rd party adapters for people that have a slightly higher risk tolerance than you.
