I just hope Max Pack sees the light of day next year. Then again, if charge speed doesn't improve, it may not be worth it for me. With the current charge curve, you're looking at over an hour to charge from 20-80% at a DCFC.

You're right, I should have been more clear. I meant that with the current charge curve, the Max Pack will take over an hour. The current pack certainly takes less than an hour. Without a faster sustained charge rate, the increased capacity of the Max Pack isn't as useful as it could be.

Mine is in the 4500s and it’s in pretty good shape. Earlier than that and it’s hit or miss. R1S with VINs in the 500s are some of the worst built Rivians we’ve seen here. They are totally rushed.

There’s no added value it an early VIN.

I am in the 28xx. I have had no issues. No pops, no clunks, no steering issues. I had them adjust a door gap. I just noticed my wife's 2022 Range Rover door was worse. Heck, even my tonneau works well. I see later VINs having more issues.

Can't assume someone is getting the full $7,500 credit because they may have other non-deferrable tax credits in the same year. I couldn't use the full $7,500 credit when I purchased my Bolt in 2017 because I still had two kids in college at that time and the tax credits were pretty decent.

I think we're finally starting to feel the rise in interest rates as the Fed pushes us deeper into recession. I hoping a quality company like Rivian can weather the upcoming storm. Market is down, building stopping, people lack the confidence to buy anything they don't really need.

well anyone who can’t use it has no business buying a $90k truck. If they did it to flip then I don’t feel bad.

RIS just sold for $105k on Cars and Bid. This is the first major price drop. Even with fees this was under $110k.
