Driver+ question -- does scroll wheel change following distance?

When using Driver + and setting the follow distance with the scroll wheel. Does scrolling down increase or decrease the following distance? Hard to tell with the way they made it. Should have just put the number of car lengths like Tesla.

Look at the blue line on the dash cluster display. One way will make the blue line closer to the truck, decreasing following distance. Roll the opposite to increase following distance.
