Those models don't appear to include that giant unit of a wiper sitting on the windshield either. We already know it was an afterthought. Imagine the drag if the wiper is in motion on the way down while driving forward :giggle:

This wiper is a source of negative drag somehow, because Tesla would never do something this stupid right?

I imagine it has the same effect on the forward motion as the Gatling gun on the front of the A-10 Warthog...

I imagine these models are overly simplified and that it's actually quite a bit less than their model achieves here. But I still don't see it being better than Rivian's.

Hopefully, this will get more people to consider a dual motor large pack R1T more. Of course, unless you’re really committed to driving a stainless steel dishwasher around town
I hope that is true, but I do think RJ was correct when he said there may not be many people cross-shopping a CT and a Rivian. I believe most CT buyers are not even necessarily "truck people", but love Tesla and love that it is something totally different. ?‍♂

I think so too. That said, Rivian will only make 30K R1T trucks/year max in 2024-2025. So perhaps, enough CT curious people will decide that the R1T is actually a really great truck, and switch over.

Like, "wow, having a truck is great but these parts of the CT suck. Where can I get a truck that doesn't suck like this?" kind of curious?
