I use these so I can fill my MTB tires from my shop compressor. I'll probably throw a couple in the R1T compressor kit.

There is a presta adapter, but the issue is the schrader air chuck comes out straight instead of at an angle. Had to practically wrap the hose up in my wheel to be able to get it on the adapter.

I have a separate pigtail I can use that has a modified version of this on it, I'll have to dig it out of my bike room and test it out with the Rivian.

I use this on the compressor at the house, was hoping it would work off the Rivian compressor. It has a universal head that works on Schrader and presta valves, would help get accurate pressure on the truck tires as well.

Most of those look like they are meant to be used on a line that's already pressurized. The pump head I modified locks onto the valve so you can hand pump air into tires. I made it for my automatic 'inflate-to-pressure' system, which is exactly what the rivian's system is. All I will need to do is lock it onto the valve, set the pressure, and hit the "go" button.

Obviously? The problem is they are taking the measurement to determine when to shut off... when it's still flowing.
Obviously. They *can't* get an accurate measurement while it's still flowing using existing hardware, and pausing to measure wastes time, so we're back to square one - use it as is, figure out the difference between set and actual, and adjust your set accordingly. Easy day!

Edit: based on @jjswan33 's input that it is pausing to measure, using a higher setpoint shouldn't be necessary and will likely result in over-inflation unless calibration is off.

I was using my compressor again today when the Rivian folks delivered my tire. Tire was at 46 psi and I did a set pressure of 50 psi. It would run and turn off right away but when I let it sit a second it started inflating again. The read pressure would spike to high 50s and then turn off come down and then it cycled through until it reached the teeter point between 49 and 50 psi.
Lol so they did go with a run/pause cycle to measure! That's what you'd expect for an automatic system, but bummer that it's going to take that much longer to fill.

Were the cycles adaptive? If they did it right, it should measure, run for a very short time, measure again, and then adjust the run/pause cycle timing based on the change and how close it is to desired setpoint.

so just reorder the steps? put inflator on hose, start compressor, stick on valve.

Not sure if the cycles are adaptive, will need to do some more testing.

On a related note I was talking to service on the phone today about the compressor and he was saying they had already applied some firmware updates to the compressor so at least they can continuously improve it to some degree.

Okay... Front trunk.

If you have crap in it how do you get your other crap underneath the shelf?

I couldn't practically see keeping charging cables in the frunk lower shelf if you're carrying stuff around in your Rivian (actually using the frunk).

Do you find this to be the case?

I don't use to portable charger regularly, so I do keep it there. I have been able to pull the small tab in the front and squeeze some small items in there. But honestly, I haven't found a need to use that extra space for daily activities. Plenty of space for my needs.
