Hello Rivian Community,

My wife and I are planning an exciting road trip from Austin to Whistler in the last couple of weeks of July, driving our Rivian R1S and R1T, both pulling trailers. Unfortunately, we have not yet received our Rivian-approved NACS Tesla adapters, and it seems unlikely that we will get them before our trip. As you can imagine, not having these adapters will significantly limit our charging options and make our journey more challenging.

I previously posted about this issue, and I am incredibly grateful to @dduffey from Austin, who has generously offered to loan me his adapter for the month of June. However, we still need an additional adapter to ensure both vehicles can charge efficiently during our trip.

Here’s what I’m offering:
A $250 gift card for the Rivian Gear Store (or just straight cash) as a token of appreciation.
I will cover all FedEx shipping costs to have the adapter sent to me and returned to you.

Dates Needed:
From June 15 to July 1, 2024.
If anyone in the community is willing to rent, sell, or loan us an adapter for this period, it would be a tremendous help. Your support will make our road trip much smoother and more enjoyable.

Current delivery times on A2Z's website is between June 10-17. So, there's a chance it wouldn't make it in time.

I'd still order one though and chance it in hopes they under promise.

I would ask your local Rivian club of America if they have an adapter they can loan you.

The $15 up charge can help shave one week off from shipping.

@SPDL.Rivian I know you updated the title to specifically ask for a Rivian provided adaptor, but @A2ZEV here is awesome and makes incredibly high quality NACS adaptors. You'll have a very hard time getting someone to loan you one of the ~1,000 Rivian adaptors currently in existence, and should go with the @A2ZEV unit instead.

Loving the customer service at A2Z! I emailed to check my order status and found out about upgrading to overnight shipping as @MidnightRivian mentioned and got an ETA. I had major anxiety trying to map out “Plan A, B, C” chargers from CA to FL. Awesome to hear about the quicker turnaround!
