Auto Window up not working (Solved)

So I've had the truck for a few weeks now but only yesterday noticed that will I try to put the front passenger window up, I have to hold the switch up. It does not go up automatically with full pull of the switch. All of the other windows do go up and down with no issues.
I sent in a service request and within an hour had a tech reach out and let me know that I could reset the calibration of the window.
This involved using the window switch at the window in question and pushing it down until the window was fully opened and holding the switch down for at least 5 seconds. Then I had to close the window and hold the window switch up for 5 seconds after it closed.

I thought this was strange but it worked and now all windows operate correctly.

This is pretty much standard procedure for many/most vehicles in the past 20 to 40 years that have power windows. You can buy older vehicle retrofit kits on Amazon for $40.

Older technology works by monitoring the current to the motor. When you hold the button up, the window closes and the current greatly increases when the window stops. The controller memorizes that value as a reference to know when the window is closed.

More recent technology uses something called an encoder on the motor which also allows the window controller to learn the exact position of the window.

Not working for me unfortunately. Tried down for 5, then up for 5. Even tried 10 seconds each, but no cigar.

Oh. I was trying from drivers door to fix rear window. I'll try from that actual door/window.

Having this issue and Rivian said to do 15 sec, not 10. It worked 'mostly' for me. Still stops right at the top if I fully depress it (through the click) to have it auto open. I have a service appointment so they can look at it further.
