App 1.6.0 released

Chicken and egg. People would complain that the OTA enables remote window control but Rivian hasn't pushed the update via mobile.
And you don't push both at the same time because if there's an issue, was it the app update or OTA update that caused it?

yes we all know that but it’s not typical to release an iOS app update announcing new features and not clarify in the “what’s new” section that the app doesn’t grant those features without specific software on the truck. It’s pointless to update your app until you have the OTA truck update.

Doesn't look liek the iOS update has pushed yet.

I downloaded it yesterday. I've never had any Rivian app update "push" to my phone/app. I always have had to check the app store to see if there is a new version.

turns out I'm an idiot. Looks like it auto updated I just didn't recognize the changes. I need coffee.

I just updated the app and for some reason the additional Controls do not show up. I have confirmed that the app is version 1.6.0. Anyone else experiencing the same thing?

It won't show up until you have the latest update in the truck.

My truck software is currently 2022.27.02. I am not aware of another one having been pushed out yet.

Pretty sure this functionality won't show up until we get the latest update in the vehicle with the Camp Mode.

Rolling out now. Someone already received v.5 of it yesterday I believe. But could be up to 10+ days for everyone to receive.

On a pixel 5 with Android 13 its working... It's sucking battery juice down like my phone is CONSTANTLY plugged in. 23% battery loss last night in 8.5hrs while I was sleeping and had everything closed.

Ugh this is insane battery useage!
