Anyone receive a Gen2 R1T yet?

Hi Folks,

I’m getting mine delivered Thursday from Chelsea SC. They said no QC issues, which I’m going to assume is true, they’ve been great communicators. But, I’m seeing a decent number of Gen2 R1S issues on here right after delivery - has anyone actually received a gen2 R1T at this point? I’ve seen a few folks mention pickup/delivery dates earlier this month - any issues?

I have the OG Meridian system in my 2023 R1T, and it was never noteworthy till recently when Rivian "tweaked" it via OTA software update, now it's pretty darn good. If they can do that to a 1.5yo system, there's hope they can also tweak the Gen 2 Premium system given enough time.

I completely agree. I thought Merdian was pretty good already but that last update made it amazing.

Hope they can software tweak the new Premium Audio for sure!

I completely agree. I thought Merdian was pretty good already but that last update made it amazing.

Hope they can software tweak the new Premium Audio for sure!
Seeing the huge leap they made in just one update to the Meridian system bodes well for hopes of better sounds from the Premium system. All it takes is for one Rivian SW engineer to purchase a Gen2 vehicle with the Premium system to be disappointed by it's sound system.

You're probably close to the front of the line, as far as taking ownership of a Gen 2 R1T.

I'm not far behind you, it seems. Looking to pick my R1T sometime in October.

Agree. They boosted bass a bit much for my preference, but it can be fixed via EQ. Overall, pretty satisfied now.

Picked up my Gen2 R1T on 9/14 and no significant issues so far. First Rivian so I can't compare to Gen1.

I was supposed to get my gen2 R1T same day as you at the Chelsea SC, but moved my appointment to Friday because my dog got sick and I have to bring him in for an emergency visit to the vet on Thursday. Good luck with your delivery. Post on here to tell us how it goes.

Oh no! Sorry to hear that. Bizarrely, my dog has gone missing this evening. I’m really hoping someone finds her, we’re in a pretty rural area, but the highway isn’t too far away.

No issues for me, except for a loose door bolt which is easily fixed. I think the sound is setup more to feel like an open studio / concert style. I’ve gotten used to it, but takes some adjustment.

No specific date, just reconfirming the October-November timeframe I've had since I reserved it on June 28th
