Im not really in a hurry to get mine, id rather they not rush and deliver a quality product... on the other hand they were originally scheduled to deliver last year so whatever last minute kinks that had to be worked out should have been (you'd think). The Amazon delivery vans are already out on the streets and some lucky few have been able to actually drive the prototypes so its not all vaporware at this point. Nevertheless, delays are nothing new for this space. The (relatively) hard part is scaling up to high volume production, and im sure Rivian is elbow deep in getting that figured out right now. Let them stay focused.

Interesting. I had a Rivian chat session today and they also ended the chat with “I hope you have a great week.” Now are they being polite or know something exciting is coming this week? Don’t people normally just say, have a nice day or have a nice weekend?

Yeah, same here. In my chat she said she hoped I was having a good day and I was like, woah lady! I'm married! Contain yourself!. It was really weird. I wonder if it means anything? ?

I will say at this point if no one was contacted by a guide on here yet, especially the super early Nov 2018 pre-orders, they are NOT going to deliver or at most a handful of R1T's in June. I will assume that everyone will have questions for the guides. I would think it will be a 2 hour call? Maybe 1 hour? So realistically that would be 4-8 calls a day per guide. And how many are there? If they start calling next week, and there are a dozen, then that would not be many calls.
Assuming makes... lol

It's a knifes edge though. There are also people that have seen the F150 and bailed. If you look at this forum, something like 50% of folks also have a F150 Lightning reservation.
I got one just to be first in line
I don't need a work truck today
But who knows in a year I might want a work truck
