    I am hopeful, but not optimistic. I am a little biased though. My understanding is that the truck will be a full size pickup and the SUV will be midsize.

    For me, the main consideration would be if the kids are good road travelers. We drove from PHX to st.louis in our R1S and it was a great trip with only minor hiccups. The trip was only marginally longer than the time we did the same drive in our expedition. I say, be adventurous and go for it.

    Thank you for the write up. I tow my travel trailer (6000 lbs) from east Mesa to the White mountains and have taken the globe route with the trailer. Tows amazing and got there without incident.

    I'd say go for it. We drove nearly 1100 miles in one day with 4 kids, it was a lot of fun and an adventure. I agree with others that it is a trip your kid won't soon forget.

    We use an Anderson WDH. We love it. Easy to install and uninstall the chains on trips.

    I just called Rivian yesterday to inquire about opening dates for that exact charging site and was told they did not have a timeframe. Lol. We are driving home from st.louis to Phoenix in two weeks and are excited for this stop. It will be perfect.

    We just drove 1000 miles to Idaho and then 2 days later drove 1500 miles to st.louis, with all but 2 charges on Electrify America. We only had one throttling issue. Two times Chevy bolts blocked 350kw chargers. Other than that, it was a very pleasant experience.

    I too had had that issue. Worked with Rivian service for w resets, which worked for 10 minutes and then faulted again.
