It’s finally here!!! Today feels like Christmas! This thing is amazing and I keep asking my family if there are any errands they need me to run for them!

Those 20in wheels look awesome with El Cap. This picture has me reconsidering my build. Congratulations

Quick update…I was not able to pick up my R1S from Houston SC on Saturday because someone from service center texted me Saturday morning telling me some paperwork was not completed. I was a little irate saying my 8 steps have been done for weeks, but they still had to push my pick up appointment to today. Was disappointed but it’s been well over 3 years so what’s a couple of more days. Took half day off from work today and picked up at noon and been driving all afternoon, all over town. I absolutely Love this vehcle and all the suspension and ride adjustments it permits me. My current vehicle is a 700hp Jeep Trackhawk and was very surprised that this Rivian is much quicker than my Hellcat Powered Jeep. 😍😍😍. Other thing since my vehicle had to be sent out to paint and body after the originally PDI, I went over with fine tooth comb today and super pleased the gaps and panels are consistent and paint looks great.

Anyway, the Rivian will be my daily driver and hoping everyone in this forum waiting on their R1S will be in them soon cause I have been smiling ear to ear all afternoon!!! 😁😁😁

Nice, my same configuration. Glad to hear how content you are with it.

Just curious if it has the off-road package?

Yes, I have the off-road or underbody protection or whatever it is technically called.

We have the girls soccer games this weekend and when I mentioned the Rivian meet up I got the look. She told me the kids sports is my thing and she is not chauffeuring them around so I can go have fun with my new Rivian buddies.

Will try again but likely out this weekend until I can better plan for the next one. 🤔

Sorry if I have been missed some prior posts on my question, but for several years now and until I picked up today, I was under the impression the Black Mountain interior was all black with some subtle hue changes in the black. But in looking at my BM interior all day today it seems as though the suede stripe sown into the middle of the seat has a forest green color to it, and the floormats also look like the green mats from the Forrest Edge interior. I went back to the original color boards when the interiors came out and it almost seems as though the green suede and green floormats that were part of the Forrest Edge have been blended into the Black Mountain interior…was this a supply chain issue? I attached pics…I must be color blind. Anyway, I am still super happy with my R1S…just not a big fan of the subtle green in the seats and floor mats.

It may have changed since the very beginning, but I don't think it's a supply chain issue as it has at least been consistent since September of last year, before production started in earnest. See here

freshpow, thanks for clarification and link, guess I haven't been paying that close of attention since production started.

Feel like I'm twinning your situation. Same build outside of the underbody shield. Mine is at the service center as of Friday but stuck on Step 8. 8 is quickly becoming the new longest number! Thanks for all the pics! :)

Haha. I can understand and have gotten the look at my home too :) May be the next one. But be ready. You will be answering someone anywhere you go. Have fun with the Rivian !
