A few software bugs lately

The usual preamble / throat clearing: I'm a huge Rivian fan, I love the product, reported these bugs via customer support already, feedback is just because I want Rivian to succeed and have an amazing product, etc.

With that out of the way, some bugs I've seen lately, both general ones and specifically with this last release:

1. iOS lock screen widget is out-of-sync with the mobile app's reporting of charging status
These two screenshots are taken at the same time and report different miles range, kW charge speed, time left charging, etc.

2. After updating the most recent software, the bottom app selection in vehicle display is missing most options
It looked like this until I did a reboot (hold steering wheel left button + hazards button)

3. The Rivian Assistant would not connect to texting after having already done this step
I had enabled messaging access in bluetooth settings by this point. Again did a vehicle software reboot to fix.

4. I replied to a group text via Rivian Assistant, and it only sent my text to 1 person, the last person to have texted on the group chain
No screenshots for this, but basically:

• There's an established group text thread between me and friends
• I was driving, got a text on the group text, had Rivian Assistant read me the text
• I selected the heart emoji reply option from the Rivian Assistant UI
• When I parked and checked my phone, I had actually just sent a heart emoji to a single person, the last person to have texted on the group text, rather than replied to the group text thread itself

This one^ makes Rivian Assistant texting borderline unusable, having very little confidence I'm texting the right thing to the right person

Edit, #5 since the most recent software release, have noticed "Starting navigation..." with loading spinner for driver display, even when not navigating at all

No group texting is a known limitation in Bluetooth, it only responds to the sender.

My Tesla does the same thing.

For #4 - group texting is not supported at this time. Manual has this note “Note: Group messaging is not supported at this time.”

Not sure why #4 makes it borderline useless for texting. Surely you text individuals some of the time where it would work and just avoid using it for group chats.

#1 - I don’t believe is a Rivian issue but an iOS one. If you launch the mobile app it will update the widget.

Is it a bug, if it only happens once?

And ditto on #4. It is not a Rivian only limitation. Rivian and all other car manufacturers would need to find a way to work around the Bluetooth, MAP issue.

I’m still having problems with iPhone connection,even after soft and hard reboots.

I haven't experienced any of these problems. I did have a problem getting my contacts to sync. None of Rivian Assistant's suggestions worked. Whin I toggled sync contacts off then on in the Rivian Assistant app Settings--not the Bluetooth settings--suddely my contacts appeared on the center screen.

I have a few of these issues as well. Additionally Apple Music is working even worse than usual.
