Picked up my truck Saturday at the Phoenix Service Center. It took a little longer than expected because the check I mailed three weeks prior got lost in space. My CU was nearby and we were able to replace it without any difficulty. The staff at the Center were terrific. I did not detect any problems or issues with the truck though I suspect I'm less rigorous than most.
Initial observations on just a couple of drives - the accelerator pedal felt very heavy compared to my Model Y. I suspect reflexes will take over shortly and I won't notice it. I set regen to max and it seemed about the same as the Tesla. By yesterday I was stopping mostly without brakes. Highway driving was very comfortable. I used cruise and lane keepng. I found that the R1 kept very centered and didn't fight me like my wife's Highlander does.
I was able to park it in the garage without difficulty and the door opener programmed on first try.
Still haven't figured out how to make a phone call but I haven't installed the Alexa app yet.
