Will SXSW be when Rivian announces details (colors, configurations, etc) about the R2? I had hoped to find out sooner, but now it seems like they would be spoiling the buildup to SXSW.

I doubt that - the thinking is that Rivian is going to have their big R2 event in February, potentially around the financial results call for Q4 2025. Plus, looping it in with a third-party event doesn't put enough focus on Rivian and the R2 - hence why its more likely all will be unveiled at their own event.

Agree Q4 results make sense to provide a distraction and the timing works well if consumers can start getting these by June (or sooner).

Hrm…. I have a company event in Austin right after that - hope I win, and can just shift my flight out to be early enough for SXSW, and just stay for the company event after!
