Launch site for Rivian Outpost Hamptoms

Rivian’s Charging Outposts connect people to some of the world’s most special places like Yosemite and Joshua Tree National Parks.
The opening of our Southampton, New York location now makes traveling to and from the easternmost part of Long Island even more convenient for electric vehicle drivers, whether they are visiting for the weekend or are residents. The 2,000 square-foot space is just minutes from Hamptons mainstays like the Parrish Art Museum and offers travelers the opportunity to charge, refresh, and get inspired for whatever journey awaits them.
Plug In and Play
Charging Outposts are amenity-based Rivian Adventure Network charging stations on high-visibility routes that provide EV owners with a reliable, worry-free charging experience while on the road. Celebrating the local vernacular is a core tenet to our design approach, so for this space, we leaned into the relaxed, coastal feel of the Hamptons, housing our space in a classic cedar shingle building on Montauk Highway. The site features six fast chargers, including a trailer-friendly pull-through charger, and is open to all EV owners. While vehicles charge, guests can enjoy a relaxing lounge area with complimentary coffee and peruse curated merchandise and snacks like tinned fish available for purchase. Young adventurers can explore an outdoor play area featuring a sandpit or indoor reading nook adorned with art prints by New York-based artist Danielle Kroll. To accommodate travelers whenever they are on the road, chargers and restrooms are available 24/7.

Broadening access to the Rivian Adventure Network will help encourage more people to embark on their next adventure in an EV. Our Hamptons Outpost is our 121st RAN site and 15th location in the Northeast, marking a significant milestone in our continued expansion. Anyone who charges with us can drive with confidence knowing every mile is powered by clean sources like the sun and wind. To kick off our grand opening celebrations, we’re also offering complimentary charging August 7-10.

The Hamptons is the perfect backdrop for experiencing the capability of a Rivian. Demo drives will be available for guests who are curious about our vehicles or transitioning to an EV. With ample flexible outdoor space, we’re excited to welcome the community in for seasonal activations and local food vendor pop-up events too. Stay tuned for special events during our grand opening weekend August 7-10. We’re located at 1 Montauk Highway, Southampton, NY 11968.
