My Gen1 Quad to Gen2 Tri-Max R1T (Storm Blue) Upgrade

Today's the big day, I upgraded from my 2023 Gen1 Quad to a 2025 Gen2 Tri-Max.
I had a bit of a business situation where it made a lot of sense to upgrade (and of course, I wanted to)
Delivery at Rivian Denver was smooth as always, the truck is flawless. Perfect fit & finish. I'm in love so far.

Coolest feature BY FAR (for me) so far is the hazard lights in the light bar. I do a lot of highway construction work and this is going to be a game changer for me. Rivian knocked it out of the park.

Congrats! What do you think of the try motor performance versus the quad? The try feels scary fast to me.. granted the trimotor that I drove was on the sport wheel tire and both our quads are on the range wheel tire set but when I stomped on it doing about 30 it felt like one second and I was doing close to 70.

Congrats! What interior option did you go with? For whatever reason, I thought the Tri-Max had teal painted brake calipers. I guess that's only reserved for the upcoming Quad-Max.

Surprised at how much cleaner the front looks with the newer designed lightbar and stadium lights. Did not think such a subtle change would look so different.

The differences between what I may get are the interior (maybe) and the Range wheels. You picked the best color, IMO. I am going for the best range Tri-Max configuration, and while they don't say the Range wheels are better, I know they are. Maybe one day someone will prove it!

I have the range wheels on mine (pick up is this week). Guide said the range wheels were 3-5 miles better on a full charge. Not worth $1,000 to me, but they wouldn't swap them off. I'm storm blue with slate/walnut interior.
