Oh babY! I was there a couple weeks ago and nothing. Might just drive up tomorrow!

It’s technically not open, but if you wonder around outside they will probably come out and greet you. Dallas and Steven were super nice guys and very willing to answer questions. They offered to show me the waiting area inside and were totally OK when I asked to take a picture.

I was at the SLC center today as well…. Talked to some employees who said there were several more inside prepped and ready for deliveries.

Really? I've stopped twice, hoping to maybe talk to someone, but both times only saw the security guard and he didnt make me think anyones allowed inside. Both times was around 430/5pm. You run into someone outside?

I just got back from stopping by. They were awesome. 6 people came out and greeted me. They were very excited to talk about the truck and even opened one up for me to take a look.

I was walking around looking in the windows of the trucks and taking pics, and two guys came out and greeted me. They seemed well prepared to give me a whole education about Rivian as if I knew nothing and just stumbled upon the lot, but when I told them I was up for May/June delivery and wanted to check out the black mountain interior, they quickly went inside and got the key for the manager’s truck and let me climb around in It.

On all of my drive by’s prior to this one, it was a similar experience as to what you describe.

I popped in to the Bellevue Service Center today because I was in the area and had a really nice chat with one of the guys there. He happened to be the same person I saw a couple of weeks ago when he was doing mobile test drives with a LG R1T in Seattle (documented in this post).

I was hoping to get a glimpse of Forest Green but there didn't seem to be any visible from the front of the Service Center. I did get to see Rivian Blue, Glacier White, Midnight Black, El Cap Granite and bunch more Launch Greens though. They all honestly looked great under today's overcast skies.

He was gracious enough to pull around the LG R1T test drive vehicle and got talking about orders, deliveries etc. Pointedly, there was another potential customer who showed up thinking that this was a showroom, and he was told it was not. We had a conversation around how lots of people have been coming around asking to see the truck and/or the SUV, and Rivian should do something about accommodating that at the Service Center. The Rivian employee had a cool idea about paint swatches - he was like Rivian should just ship them a bunch of charging port doors in different colors, since those are already precut panels. Would help immensely with picking a color, although after today I have more questions than answers. LG is definitely back in the picture for me.

That great. I thought the construction work was scheduled for this fall. Maybe that is incidental to the opening.

Looks like you are definitely missing the Shepherdsville, KY location (of unknown purpose). There's a posting over here on Reddit with a handful you can cross-check.

OK, I've added the following to my map: Franklin, San Diego, and Shepherdsville--I still kind of suspect this will be a parts distribution center rather than a customer service center, but we'll see.

Any others I'm still missing? (not gonna put the addresses that are listed on that Reddit page as 2023 openings. That feels too optimistic.
