This is the utilitarian look I run on my Land Cruisers. Seems to look equally awesome on an R1T!

If I hadn't upgraded to 20s from 21s last year I would be all over these. Well done!

These are a HELL of a lot easier to stomach over those 20" AT Bright thou.. Cheapest set of those I have been able to find is 5x these!

These definitely look better than the Ram 2363 wheels but would serve the same purpose for a set of offroad/winter tires setup. If the 21" tires ever go completely extinct, these will be first on my list.

Maybe unpopular opinion, but I don't "love" this look for R1/R2 as I think the body lines, while... retro inspired in some ways, are just too clean and modern for such a "utilitarian" rim. However...

I can see these matching up quite well with an R3X and some nice chunky tires

The rims on the prototype are somewhat similar in feel already. I could see rocking a set of these on the R3 for sure, not so much R1/2 for me - but that's just personal aesthetic.

So @EV Sportline - make sure to have these ready for 2027

Every tire on their website lists the exact same load rating 2,530 lbs. I find that hard to believe that they are identical. Copy paste error or lack of testing?

Be real with me y'all. I'm never going to get any decent aftermarket alternatives for my Gen1 R1T 21" wheels am I? I'd legit buy these tomorrow if they were 21s. Does anyone see any alternatives out there?

This Steelie wheel is proper wheel load spec for Rivian.

The wheel load rating is not simply the same as the tire load rating. Often, you'll find varying tire load ratings on the same vehicle - different with each diameter and brand sometimes.

The wheel load rating is based on the vehicle load rating per axle. Rear is 2250kg axle limit, divided by 2 wheels = 1125kg per wheel. We have confirmed this spec with the factory making the OEM Rivian wheels.

Our wheels are spec'd to 1150kg. Regardless, you won't break our wheels. We're 3 year into making them for Rivian and zero have ever broken or cracked (We are 25 years into making aftermarket wheels and 11 years into making wheels for EV, we've got this well science'd out!)

Buy these tomorrow and put on 275/60r20 tires so they match your 21” wheel and tire size? No need to stay married to the 21” size!
