Hi -
I have a water tank that I used and loved in my Gen 1 R1T that unfortunately no longer fits in my Gen 2, which has a smaller frunk to accommodate the heat pump.
It has an integrated pump and sources power from the 12V outlet in the frunk (I had a really early VIN) they make an accessory...
Wow - that is a lot of rodent confetti to not have any other issues related to wire damage.
I am restoring an old Land Cruiser and that much junk is a sure sign that I am about to stumble upon some very sad section or wiring harness.
Happy to hear it resolved your issue though!
Correct - its honestly close to a wash on the monthly and I do sacrifice the positive equity I have now to make this happen. The only reason to do it is to restart the warranty clock (and get a fresh set of tires!). Really uncertain as to where the resale value goes on the Gen1 quads, but it...
I've heard it was pretty rough on the gen1 enduros but it got better with the gen2s as they refined the clutch engagement tuning? Tri would be preferable, for sure, but the ultimate objective here is to refresh my warranty without substantially adding to my monthly vehicle expense.
I drove a DM performance last week when I was in for service and agree that the response off the line in AP mode is not as hair raising, but I found sport mode to be plenty gut burying.
I loved the lack of suspension noise. The doors feel lighter, but not cheap by any stretch. I liked the...
I have a May '22 Quad that I absolutely love. It has 53k miles on it and the out of warranty costs scare me.
My monthly loan service is $1137.
I can lease a gen2 dual performance with audio + vision, off road package for $1042/month with nothing down except taxes, acquisition fee...
Truck is back.
They ultimately ended up replacing the antenna assembly. I haven't had enough time with the truck using highway assist to determine if the issue is truly fixed. Unclear how they diagnosed the antenna issue, I was not having issues with cellular, GPS, etc. so seems a little...
I’ve been experiencing an abrupt sensor fault that trips off highway assist. No warning like “take control of vehicle” — just immediate regen and requires physical input on accelerator to maintain speed. Super lame.
Coincides with a sensor fault tell tale on dash that lasts a mere 500ms and...
You will notice that take control alert coincides with the highway signs that notify you of “cross traffic ahead” or “end freeway”—ADAS in these trucks does not allow for highway assist in cases where traffic might be traversing horizontally.
That section of 101 & northern SB county are similar...
I have the same issue. I've performed resets, have switched inputs, tried on LTE vs WiFI...no dice.
I spoke with support and they recommended using a phone to stream via BT. This works, but no Dolby and of course not a very satisfactory "solution".
Somewhat relatedly, wondering if others have...
20 or so charges with the A2Z adapter and no issues thus far (since April). I have a Lectron and factory Rivian/Tesla unit, but I have yet to bother to test those as the A2Z unit works so well.
Real game changer with v3/3.5 SC access!
I've been stuck like this before and the only recourse was a pull from about 120 feet away from a dude with a static line. Glad you got out OK. The mud looks nice on Limestone, at least!
This is the utilitarian look I run on my Land Cruisers. Seems to look equally awesome on an R1T!
If I hadn't upgraded to 20s from 21s last year I would be all over these. Well done!
I discovered liquid in my front passenger footwell a couple years ago in my R1T and it ultimately lead the service center to replace the HVAC unit that lives under dash. In other vehicles of mine with similar symptoms the issue was simply a clogged condenser drain pipe. It could be as simple as...
