If the Tesla Supercharger is the v4 there will be little difference. If Tesla station is V3 ( shorter cables and units) they are more prone to derating and the charge time will often be much longer than your R2 predicts. I have had great charging sessions on the MB chargers at Buc-ees in Texas
Thank you for posting.
I am now starting to think there is an issue with the latest software update and how it monitors battery health. I replaced my batteries with the Ohmmu Sodium Ion upgrade and if my warning came back now I would be losing my mind.
Final update: Went to charge this morning at a nearby Ionna Rechargery. The truck started pre-conditioning normally when I left my house and the battery was at optimal temp 8 minutes later when I reached the charger. I plugged in, plug-n-charge worked perfectly and it followed the typical...
Update: Received the Ohmmu Sodium Ion batteries on Thursday which only weigh 5.5 lbs each. On Saturday I went into the RIDE menu and reset the warning. I then immediately replaced the secondary 12v battery followed by the primary 12v battery following the YouTube video from Ohmmu. The truck...
Same here. Love my R1T and it has been pretty bulletproof for the last 3 years after 9 months of challenges. Rivian has to get better at launch but this is not unique to them in the automotive industry.
I ordered the Ohmmu batteries from Electruck4x4. Shipped out in two days and arrive on Thursday. BTW. The warning came back after about a week. I plan to reset one more time before I replace the batteries.
I probably would have made the same call if I was so far from home. Fortunately I was in my garage and have a spare vehicle that I could use. As posted previously, still haven't heard from Rivian on the service request I put in on Sunday. Can't wait to see how all of this shakes out and if there...
I also checked the battery voltage which was fine although I know that is not the only indication of whether the battery is bad. The weirdest thing is I put in a a service request based on the initial warning and haven't heard anything back from Rivian. I am not saying Rivian is doing anything...
I went in to the RIDE menu and reset the warning. There is something wrong with the software update not our batteries. Too high of a percentage of people got this warning within 2 to 3 days of installing the last update. Something is fishy.
So far so good. Really impressed with the natural communication with the R1T to ask for directions, weather, etc. My only disappointment is losing Amazon music voice control.
I have experienced this also and believe that it is normal in conserve mode. It makes me cringe whenever I do this to myself by forgetting to switch off conserve.
I have had a couple of random reboots lately also. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason as to when it happens other than I do have ACC turned on.
I got the update last night. The improvement in steering wheel shake with AT tires is stunning. I tested my truck up to about 90 this morning and it feels completely solid like I was on perfectly balanced low profile tires. I am super happy about this improvement as it fixed my biggest complaint...
