Just saw a video on channel 4 news from a security camera, not sure what the issue was but it was the fault of the Rivian driver, hit a car from behind, pushed them into the intersection, went right, almost hit another car before hitting the building. The truck appeared to be out of control, can’t find the video they just showed, I’m sure it will be online at some point.

But driver starts from a stopped position and accelerates? It’s not that the driver starts from a moving position and fails to brake, because they pressed the wrong pedal…

Used to an ICE vehicle that creeps and their brain forgot that instead of letting up on the brake to creep forward, they were pushing down on the accelerator. Needed to brake to slow the creep down, so they pushed harder. Then stomped on it when it wasn't braking.
