How about an automatic horn honk when the car in front of me doesn’t go on green! GET OFF YOUR DAMN PHONES PEOPLE!!!! Features enabling people to be on their phones at traffic lights don’t sound like a good idea.

Who did you ignore? I cannot see what I’m assuming is a quote you made so said person must have ignored me. I would like to see who’s feathers got all ruffled. How the hell did it take me this long to ignore you?
Gen1 hands-free development has been growing for a while. I believe they call it Project QT.

However, it isn't fully functional on all roads. Standby for Project Ugli updates, I believe it'll work better.
Exactly. Most likely attention seeker !!Do you still own a Rivian? If so, why? All you do is complain. If I hated my vehicle that much I would have sold it a long time ago and I sure as hell wouldn’t be hanging out on the forums.
ThirteenElectrics. Zero positive contributions here, just a bunch of whine.Who did you ignore? I cannot see what I’m assuming is a quote you made so said person must have ignored me. I would like to see who’s feathers got all ruffled.
Doesn't it already do this if in adaptative cruise? Or does the adaptive cruise shut when the car stops? (I don't drive near stop lights so I forget).I’m not sure why they prioritized this. It’s hard not to notice the vehicle in front of you moving. What is much more useful is Tesla’s “ding on light change”, which goes off when you‘re the first car at the light. I guess that was too hard.
Saw it in person a week or so ago. Way better than just swapping wheels. It has real information about your wheels mileage and miles used. Beats the chalk on tires method I currently use.Lots of folks are waiting for this
Wheel and Tire Swap
If you swap wheels and tires on your vehicle, you can now update your vehicle’s configuration to match, so that your vehicle provides accurate range and efficiency estimates, as well as optimal driving performance and handling. With this feature, you can save up to six wheel and tire configurations, and you can set and track the tire mileage and rotation reminders for each configuration, both in-vehicle and on the mobile app. Go to Settings > Vehicle > Service > Wheels and tires on the center display.
To view the current wheel and tire configuration on the Rivian mobile app version 2.20.0 or later, open the Vehicle tab and choose Vehicle Health.
Damn, that is awesome. It even has the tires brand? What was your original config?Saw it in person a week or so ago. Way better than just swapping wheels. It has real information about your wheels mileage and miles used. Beats the chalk on tires method I currently use.

This has got to be the best update I’ve seen. Especially for Gen2. Most probably don’t care, but roomy entry/exit didn’t work when you were unlocked at home after the vehicle goes to sleep. Service told me this was by design but couldn’t tell me why.https://riviantrackr.com/2025-06/
pretty awesome set of features and updates!!
excited for the bug fixes as always, and the new excited to try new Enhanced Highway Assist
also great to see them improving the Sound system still. there is much room for improvement here.
Just wait for it. The CarPlay fanboys are gonna drag you down. This has got to be the best update I’ve seen. Especially for Gen2. Can’t wait to try hands free. I’ve been waiting quite a while for mirror tilt backing up.
