Nice walkthrough as always from Marques. I know I smile every time I see our Rivian Amazon van deliver to our business. The drivers seem to love it too.

Very cool vans for sure. There’s about 100 of them at the Amazon facility near my office.

That's a good review. I always like his videos. I also have noticed that quite a few YouTube reviewer people have bought Rivians for their personal vehicles. That has to say something when people who review vehicles for a living choose this one.

Kinda wish the R1s had this and the USB on the dash. For other "adventure" vehicles like the Bronco, they have a similar area where you can mount accessories and some trims have a USB port in that area too.

On top of of not having usb ports like these, many of us don’t even get the circa 1960 12V lighter socket. This and the horn delete, two silly confounding decisions. Yet the camp speaker, which surely cost more, is still standard.

Damn, sure would trade dashboard top in my Rivian. They took the 'minimalist' styling way too far in the R1 dash design. There should be a nice central cubby with both wireless charging and power ports along with another on the passenger side. Crazy they decided that a package delivery driver needs all this convenience but the everyday customer would rather have a granite smooth dashtop and search high & low for how the hell to secure and charge their cellphone. Salt in the wound is the dumbass console recess that pretends to be a wireless charger and likes to toss your phone all around the cabin if you dare drive it like you stole it

I wouldn't mind that lock sound in my R1S ... sometimes the bird tweet blends in too much with actual bird sounds!! LOL. Also, Rivian should really offer these to the van lifer crowd. Would make a great camper (but probably needs a bigger battery).

They have said they are looking at other uses for the van and are working on getting out of the Amazon exclusive deal early. They have also said the battery/range was what Amazon wanted, I’m sure they can easily extend the range on these.

Just looking at the Rivian service vehicle clearly these will be huge for trades as well. Will be good for the stock when these start shipping to other places other than Amazon and Rivian.

These vans remind me of the MB Sprinters, so as Tim alludes to, it could definitely be reconfigured for trade purpose as well. I recall back in 2022, just a week

ahead of the IPO, the first working prototypes and exterior-wise, it remained the same as far as I can tell. I don't recall all those dash trays so that's an improvement. They had these tested in NYC get feedback; our guys took a ton of notes from the drivers from what I heard. Today, I've seen a couple in my area roaming around; but there's about a dozen in the Rivian Palo Alto barn from what I could tell. Oddly, if you're at home waiting for an Amazon package, you can no longer hear the "gas" vans as they pull up... I'm used to hearing those, and expecting a knock. Now you just hear a knock!
