I agree that the battery temp is critical. The problem is it is a parameter that we canāt manually adjust (I donāt even think we can toggle the pre-conditioning on/off manually unless we put in a charging station). So IMO, probably the biggest contributor to battery temp is ambient temp.I'll put my results in here when I have some, but I think the most important temperature measurement is battery temperature.
It could be 40 degrees outside but if the battery is 65 degrees the efficiency will be substantially better than if the battery is at ambient 40. This could happen if your garage is warm but the outside air is cold when you start the trip. This will be my situation regularly in the winter.
