It was -20F when I got to work on Monday morning after my 70 mile drive. Grateful to have 120v to plug into durring my shift.
Do you even gain range on 120v at these temps? Just curious.

I am planning on testing this out one of these nights, I've been waiting on sub zero temps. If you drove north to a cabin and only had a 120V outside, would you have any gain?

The 76F the cabin is set at is not actual the cabin temp. I keep my house at 66F. The Rivian struggles to keep cabin temps up in the cold. It would be interesting to see SET vs ACTUAL at various outside temps.
That huge glass roof isn't doing us any favors during cold outside temps.

Yes, I was surprised. About 10kW net. I had more loss to accessory power (1.4kW) than cabin and battery temp (0.4kW) while plugged in for 10 hours. The trip to work was 68.1mi at 64mph average and 1.57mi/kWh. 43.6kWh total.

Could be the case in negative temps, but I haven't seen any issue in more moderately cold temps (tested with an external BT sensor).

For me the issue has only appeared in temps below 10 degrees.

Yeah, I'm sure there's a threshold where it caps out at ambient plus XX, perhaps plus 60 or something. Luckily I'll never see those temps myself.
