  1. Where to fix tire puncture?

    This is what I just did for the wifes car. I took it to a tire shop and they didn't even want to bother with it, even though it's well within the repair lane. Just get one of the $20 plug kits that use an electric drill... super easy to do.

    These kinds of tests are always a bit flawed. Efficiency is such a tricky measurement for EVs because the environmental difference in seasons could account for the change. Either way, nice write up.

    IMO pre conditioning the battery is more about getting the most range when setting off. I don't know if I'd bother on short trips.. but maybe I'm wrong.

    Hmm.. then the DM must really be a lot more efficient, because in those temps I barely got over 2 miles per kwh in my quad, even on longer trips.

    Considering the temps, I'm not sure the R1T would have faired much better (Dual motor 20" AT). The big issue is the hype around it. Every cybertruck forum stating this thing is going to be MILES AHEAD in efficiency. Although it's hard to tell tesla fanboys from bots these days.

    I'm not interested unless it mounts directly to the existing mounting points. The truth is, many dealer accessories are made 2 streets away from each other in China, and are then marked up appropriately. What you pay for is fitment. If they used the correct mounting points it MIGHT be worth it...
