First pickup truck for me, but I've had two prior city-car EVs over the past 4 years that convinced me I could go primarily to EVs. It'll be awhile before I go EV for my sports car though since no one makes anything yet. The gear tunnel and frunk are the primary reasons I was willing to get the truck, but I do wish the bed was big enough for a bike without needing to use a rack.

I’ve had a lot of trucks but this is my first EV. It’s far from perfect and has definitely limited some of my plans because of lack of charging infrastructure but overall I can’t really complain.

Same with me. I think of R1T as a very large lifted sedan. And SUV s are large hatchbacks.

I like sedans because of the separation between the cargo and passenger space.

I'm the opposite. My R1T was my fifth EV, and my third pickup.

And it was almost my second EV pickup, as I almost bought a 2001 Ford Ranger EV a few years ago.

First time EV owner. Had a truck more than 25 years ago. So happy to have owe again, and I’m loving having an EV!

I’ve been around pickups my whole life so I’m surprised by those stats. Figured there were car people and truck people because some folks don’t want/need anything as big as a truck.

The R1T was the first EV we ever “ordered” though. Bought a Model Y a few months after we put down the deposit, as our first EV. The MYP has been a great transition car, but this truck is definitely the best and most fun vehicle we’ve ever owned. Fits our lifestyle perfectly so it’s going to be with us for a long time! Really awesome to see these vehicles attracting so many first timers!

Grew up with trucks as well. Owned 4 F-150's, 1 F-100, Nissan hard body pickup and currently a Dodge Ram 1500 Big Horn. Owned 2 Tesla EV model 3's. It was a natural transition for me from my model 3 back into a truck but as an EV. I was surprised by the stats but I say, "A big fat welcome to those that are getting into the best of both worlds; a truck and an EV together!"
Now back to doing truck stuff!
