  1. Folks in Sacramento/Bay Area....First Mile Drive In June and July

Yes, had a few weeks now. Sounds good on the meetup, likewise if you see/hear of something put together let me know.
  2. Rivian Transitioning to Railway Train Transport For Deliveries

Single point of reference, but was just informed by my guide that mine has arrived at the West Sac SC. I can't say definitively when it actually went on the train, but based on best estimates I would say it was roughly 3.5 weeks from Normal to Sac.
  3. Worst fears came true. My R1T died at a light. Update today(8/18)

Wow, you've had quite a ride with this whole experience. How long has the truck been with service, since May?
  4. Rivian Transitioning to Railway Train Transport For Deliveries

I asked my guide for this a few days ago and he indicated he couldn't provide that FWIW. Not sure if it's can't or won't, but I gave it a shot.
  5. Folks in Sacramento/Bay Area....First Mile Drive In June and July

My vehicle is supposed to be arriving at the West Sac SC in the next 7-10 days according to the latest from my guide. Not sure how accurate that is, but the reason for my reply is I have the limestone coming in. Happy to show it to you if/when I get it. I live in Roseville.
  6. So your alignment is bad? Maybe this is why.

Wow, that's scary. Thank goodness you recognized a major issue relatively quickly.
  7. Rivian Transitioning to Railway Train Transport For Deliveries

That's very cool your guide has an ability to track locations and provides you the updates. I haven't gotten the idea that my guide has done or is able to provide that detail. Most of his comments are very broad/general in nature and far from specific.
  8. Rivian Transitioning to Railway Train Transport For Deliveries

Did you get any update today regarding your vehicle making it to the SC? I believe you and I were both hearing similar information with relation to timing.
  9. 8th step locked question

I'm in NorCal and was told by my guide they expected the vehicle to arrive at the SC this week, but I haven't heard anything. I've been trying to reach out each Friday for an update, but to be honest the information sounds far from firm.
  10. Rivian Transitioning to Railway Train Transport For Deliveries

FWIW my guide indicated he expected my vehicle to arrive at the West Sac service center sometime next week. That might align with what some of the the Bay Area folks are hearing? To say I'm confident in that timeline would certainly be a gross overstatement. Everything just "feels" very...
  11. Oct-Dec 2022 Delivery Windows

No underbody shield on mine. I do have the 20"AT. I had shop access for a good amount of time, but mostly 21" wheels and a lot of FE interior was my experience. Each phase brings new and different experiences on the "what will happen next front".
  12. Oct-Dec 2022 Delivery Windows

I had a very similar experience on Friday. Guide said vehicle (VIN 96xx) is complete in Normal and he's awaiting shipping info, of which he said it could be rail or truck. No timeframe given as to when he might expect it to arrive in West Sac. I quizzed him a bit, but didn't get anything of note...
  13. Latest VIN check R1T. What is the real production rate...

Likely short lived, but good to at least be in the game so to speak.
  14. Cracked Roof Glass

Wow, that is a bit concerning and appears to be a potential weak point.
  15. First look at @ “Introducing the R1 Shop” -- Rivian website to shop for R1T that delivers in 6-8 weeks

I look at the shop regularly, but I really want the 20" wheels. Those have been sparse in my time in the shop. I have a little flexibility on color, but I'm not going to stray too far from my top couple choices. Additionally, I'm not personally interested in the Forest Edge interior for my...

Did you pick up in West Sac? If so, was there a decent inventory there or any intel to share?
