I do have the adapter, but I’m going to try for 50 amp spots. I will always try and have a fast charger within range for backup in case the campground says NO.
Thanks for the info about spring valley lake. I’m not sure what kind of camping I will do when I get there. On one hand an rv park would be great for the charging at night, but the trailer is self sufficient with solar and it would be fun to dry camp far from others.
Nope. I’ve had them threaten to send me a gift a couple times but never had anything show up. I remember back in the day when you place your deposit it would say give us your address we want to send you a special gift. I’m still wondering what it could have been.
I’m going to hope for the best when it comes to the weather. It should at least be better than northern Oregon. If it’s bad I will spend more time inside the trailer and wait it out. I’ve never been to KOH and I don’t plan on staying there at hammertown. Hopefully I’ll be able to find a quite...
Going to try and escape winter for awhile and take the travel trailer to Southern California, maybe end up at king of the hammers.
I’ve towed the trailer around oregon with great success, but this is going to get me near the edge of my comfort zone. My plan is to do my best to charge as close to...
I’m with you here, I don’t want any foundation brakes being used unless I’m pushing on the pedal. Too many years driving trucks and always needing to be aware off how much brakes are being used.
I wonder why Rivian has such a hard time with addresses. I’ve removed my original address twice and when I got the email to confirm my address, my old address was listed again. So I called my guide and they assured me that it’s now fixed, but I’d almost bet $20 it goes to my old address.
Yep. Get setup in the app and you’re golden. I charged my truck there a few weeks ago and it was about the same as using EA. It sat at 152kW pretty much to 70%.
Yikes! I’m starting to get the impression that some of you don’t like Elon/Tesla much. Personally Ive never owned a Tesla, and I’ve never meet Elon, so I haven’t developed any dislike for either.
I do like the specifications I’m seeing. If they are correct I will probably convert my...
I do understand that the engine is just for generating electricity. I think it said it could produce 130kW. That would be peak at high rpm, and once you’ve been on the hwy for hours doing gas and go stops it seems like that would be marginal. The reason I think this will be the case is that the...
