Ok…I’ll bite! Not sure what your background of car ownership has been or what exactly you define as your ideal driving car, but from the sound of it, maybe you are being a tad bit critical?!
I owned for about 8 yrs a Backdraft Racing Shelby Cobra that weighed about 2300Lbs, had 530 HP and NO...
thanks for the great effort in compiling this data! Just curious…is the 112MPH what most are seeing? Mine has always had a top speed of 115MPH with the exception of conserve mode which has been 112MPH.
UGH!!! Don’t get me started about HOAs….most of which are run by lunatic overreaching, power hungry, egotistic morons…?
Did I mention I don’t like HOAs?
1. Dash cam capability
2. Ability to select rear cam of your choice (bed vs tailgate) to view when backing
3. Streaming video while parked (Prime, Netflix, etc…) or at least the ability to stream anything from another device
4. Control of RGB accent lighting
5. More availability to use Driver+...
I also hate how the current playlist goes away and doesn’t come back if you switch audio sources…it will still play, but if you want to see the playlist to preview songs, etc. you have to go and find that Spotify or Apple playlist again….so annoying!
Brian, I think someone else has already asked this…but, what have you found to secure the rack to the trucks bed rails (hard points)? I have been searching, but haven’t found a clamp that will snap or lock in like the Rivian cross bars do.
Are you serious!? WTF? Why do we need more Tesla chargers?! They have an abundant and reliable network…MORE CCS CHARGERS PLEASE>>>tired of rolling up to a crappy Wallyworld with crap chargers that don’t work as intended or at all!
Brian I just saw this update…better, but I still think running the horizontal supports along the bed rail will give better support (less movement) of the bed rail attachment points, thus strengthening and making a safer rack.
Brian, Nice job…I have been looking for this myself. I want to mount a RTT on bed, but want to still be able to swing a MTB over the tailgate to use a tailgate pad (requiring the additional height of the RTT mount).
I have attached a pic with red mark-ups showing a possibly more sturdy/safer...
If range is that big an issue, why not just switch between drive modes (all-purpose/conserve) after accelerating from a stop? Also, decrease regen to aid in braking while in conserve mode.
Thanks VSG, that’s what I thought, but wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing some new change since the recent talk about Tesla opening superchargers. BTW, looks like you joined the forums on a great day…my B-day!
So does this mean if we buy a CCS/NACS (Tesla) adapter we can charge our NON Tesla EV at Tesla Superchargers today? If I recall, we can already use destination Tesla chargers (haven’t tried).
