Unfortunately not; the Dec update improved the jerkiness ever so slightly but it is nowhere near as smooth as before.....
Thank you. I need to follow up with Rivian. I did not get any improvement at all, with the latest update. The Cruise Control as is, is not acceptable, or usable, to me.

I suspect we will need to wait for the next OTA update or two before this is resolved. They are rapidly improving and moving to full UHF, so big improvements are definitely coming.

I think a number of us in this thread have Gen1, so I'm not sure if this would be related to the autonomy stuff they are doing on the Gen2s...

My problem seems to have been resolved, but I don't think by an update. I believe it was solved by replacing a defective tire.

The first set of tires I bought, I purchased 3 Pirelli and used the Pirelli full size spare, for the 4th. The spare tire lasted 19,000 miles and developed a leak. I had to fix it immediately. They replaced it with a spare from the original set, because the spare Pirelli was defective. It immediately fixed the speed control jerkiness. I carried the Pirelli tire to Discount Tires, where I originally purchased it. They said the tire was completely ruined. It had separated all the way around. From my understanding, Pirelli only has a one-year warranty, even though this tire only had 19,000 miles on it, it was made in 2021. I have a model R1T 2022.

Anyone having problem with their speed control might check their tires. Second, I won't be buying any more Pirelli Tires, unless someone says I'm mistaken about their warranty. Regardless, Discount Tires would not handle a warranty claim on it.
