This was my original configuration, but now I'm on the fence. White is crisp and not controversial. El Cap is a good hue, but too metallic. Limestone looks great in 20% of photos, acceptable in 50% and like an Easter egg in 30%. Going to need to see it in person I guess. I wish I had a LE order, because LG is looking like the best color out there.

Noticing how blue the El Cap looks in the photo. Confirms Lance T's observation about picking up the blue from the sky.

Stealth grey has less blue and is darker. Stealth grey looks closer to the configurator.

I know what stealth grey looks like, it is right outside my window ? When I saw a sample of limestone, I thought it had less blue than my car - which I’d just got out of 2 minutes earlier.

To clarify - the similarity I was pointing out between the two colours is that they are both grey and both look much different in person than online or in pictures.

el cap has lots of blue, even on a cloudy day. Sort of “steel blue” to me anyway.

Hi all. Didn’t read much of the 13 pages to get here, but here’s today at SLC service cntr
There was one Limestone, so both photos are of the same truck, a few moments apart
Definitely NOT Powder Blue (to my eye) but also not showing any hint of green like Rivian description says. Very neutral. Limestone is my orig order/configuration
Having seen it for the first time today, I think I’ll stay w it. Or go completely off & get Red(?) ??‍??ML

in sunlight, it looks like a bleached blue. yeeeessshhh... or like a blue paint thats aged from sitting in the sun for 20 years.
i know the colors are not necessarily super accurate but nothing else to go on at this point.

hate to say it but i might have preferred LG 2.0

yeah, my statements were a bit tongue in cheek. it def. seems like people who have seen it in person have a better impression of it.

Lots of LG there today. It’s appealing in a way, just not what I want. Granite & even the black are beautiful but I’m going w Limestone. If you perceive blueness in it, we have different eyeball-to-brain connections.
If I took my wife down there to see them lined up, she would say,”Get Blue”. So I won’t be doing that ! Haha Seriously tho you guys, there’s not a bad one.

Yes, for sure lighter than the Tundras & Subarus you see & there’s a Ford color too that’s darker than this. I still wouldn’t call it “bluer” tho. When the color temperature of the sky light is 9000k or more, (like today, yay!) our cameras record it without as much adjusting as our eyes do.

Thanks for the pic. I do like Limestone but I just can’t see walking up to this truck, opening the door and seeing a green interior. A tan interior would match well. Otherwise, it’s gotta be BM or OC
