Jackery power station not charging off Rivian 120v plug

2022 Rivian R1T Launch Edition
Recently got a Jackery 1500Wh portable battery to use running equipment at sporting events, camping, appliance back up.

I am running a BougeRV cooler off the Jackery's DC 12V port. I plug in the Jackery AC charging cable to my Rivian and it won't charge. Just clicks on, briefly shows an input wattage, then shuts off. I tried setting the Rivian outlets to auto and timer without any improvement. Any suggestions?

Disregard, I forgot I could adjust the Jackery charging rate. Dropped it from 1600W to 1200W and it's working fine. I'll leave this up in the off chance anyone else has this specific issue

Yeah, I was looking at the specs. At full charge rate it's overloading the Rivian 120AC.

I have a Jackery 1000, an older unit. I cannot charge it off 120V and use it (12V or 120V) at the same time. I can charge it off solar, and power things from it at the same time though. Something to keep in mind with these portable inverters; whether than can charge and discharge simultaneously, and how.

That Rivian 1500 watt inverter is borderline worthless!
It will power a few things but beware it has a sensitive fuse.
When the fuse blows you have to take it to the Rivian service center and
they MUST remove the entire pan (main battery cover) just to replace a fuse on a 1500 watt inverter. Mine blew and they replaced it during a service visit, during a power outage it blew again when our fridge was plugged in, Service center wanted $2,000.00 to change the fuse on a low powered 1500 watt inverter. Wow, I told them to forget it ... I have a spare 2000 watt inverter in the garage if I need one. Has anyone ever seen the inverter system on a Ford Lightning? It has many outlets in the front and rear and even has a 30 amp plug and they never have issues. I love my Rivian R1S but this component was very poorly engineered.

Gen2 only needs a small sub panel removed to replace the fuse. Still seems like I've heard of too many instances of the fuse getting blown though.

Moral of the story: don't use the 120v outlet in your Rivian for prolonged periods or time or with high-amperage devices.

Good for: charging a laptop, phone, tablet (yes, you can also use USB-C)
OK for: inflating an air mattress, tent with air supports, fan, LED spotlight or small TV
Questionable for: fridges, portable batteries, coffee makers, or anything else that might have an amp spike on startup or requires high, continuous, draw (yes, I know fridges have minimal draw once cooled)
Don't try: charging another EV, backing up your home

@BCondrey - Here's a workaround that you can use to charge your Jackery from the Rivian while using it to power devices: Get an AC/DC converter, plugging the AC into the Rivian and the DC into your battery. The converter will depend on how many watts your battery will accept as DC input. I have a 500W converter, but have these in my Amazon wishlist for the future:
The 1500W limit is a fact and, as mentioned above, you don't want to blow the fuse (especially in our Gen1 Rivians), so this is a workaround to allow you to get as much juice out of your battery as you can while charging it from the Rivian - truly using the battery as a buffer.

Yep, thats sort of what I did. AC/DC converter powered by Rivian 120V, DC side of it fed into the solar input on the Jackery. On the Jackery, Solar input and AC output can happen at the same time.

Honestly worked fine after I dropped the charge limit. I figured 1200W was pretty safe below the limit. Did fine using the DC out on the Jackery with the AC input.

If figure this setup allows the truck to stay shut down with lower draw devices rather than running the inverter for a 60W device.
