R1T + Airstream Camping Twins!!

We just got back from camping up in Maryland, where we had the delightful and statistically improbable experience of camping beside another R1T pulling an Airstream! Thought I would share the photo!

Cool coincidence! We pull a Globetrotter 27FBT but haven’t met any other Rivian + Airstream folks yet in our ~4000 miles so far. Maybe we’ll see you down the road!

I saw an R1 T pulling an airstream a couple weeks ago in Santa Barbara. I don’t know why, but it makes me smile every time. I don’t have an airstream, but I respect the dedication that goes into pulling a travel trailer with a Riv( or any vehicle for that matter). Thanks for posting.

That is too amazing.
we sold our camper last year (we like to tent more than be in a camper). But we towed it for two years and everytime we did someone would ask all the questions, how far can u tow, how much can it tow, blah blah blah

Last weekend we did our first tow of our 25' Flying Cloud with our R1S Dual Max Performance. Just 80 mile each way. Towed great. It estimated 193 miles, didn't get quite that.

Super cool! Full time campers. Husband remote works as a programmer, and actually was involved in some of the early Rivian software design.
They were having their Launch Edition R1T get it's 100k mile service (so the truck you see is actually their loaner).
