  2. Free LTE Connectivity to end this month

    My Ford provides the basic LTE for free, but Rivian supports a lot more data hungry features. I would hope it would be at least partially subsidized by Rivian as they are using LTE to gather data.

  3. Skis inside R1S?

    3rd row down, driver's side 2nd row down. Open hatch, put in skis. Close hatch. I do have Canvasback liner throughout, and I put a towel over the leading end of the skies, in case they slide. But they never do.

  4. Efficiency Has TANKED

    Wind chill only affects animate objects as it speeds evaporation from skin. Yes, the wind may drive the ambient temperature through opening can push the ambient temp in, but it won't include a wind chill factor. At least that's my understanding.

    I have multi-piece Canvas backs with a WeatherTech liner on top. Same as I have in our Expedition. Works great.

    I think since the last update my nav map no longer how's the speed limit. I did a software reset to no avail. Anyone else have this issue?

  8. Whistling over 60mph with recirculate mode on

    Funny, mine did that today when I switched recirculate off. It turned out the passenger window was ever so slightly open. Window up, problem solved.

    Got kicked back from Aug/Sept to Oct/Nov. So we went the shop and bought not exactly what we wanted. Annoying.

    We saw one of those and did a limited test drive. We liked it a lot. It's our current (ha-ha) second choice.

    As someone else stated, it draws 48 amps, so it can't use a 40 amp breaker. If the 60 amp breaker really had a 60 amp draw on it, it would need 4 agw..

    A good friend of mine charges two EVs at his home. But he also built a hydro generator plant to power two houses, an extensive shop, and his charging station. It helps to have a 200' waterfall in your backyard.
