Atlanta Service Center. It’s a 5 hour drive so I need a date to prepare lolMy service center setup the appointment because the car was already setup for delivery. I’m not entirely sure but it’s up to the Sales team I think. Are you picking it up at a SC or your house?
Ah. Yea I’m not sure. My service center is 5 min from my house and I think I’m 1 of 2 here. But I got the delivery schedule about half an hr after I paid the down payment and everything.Atlanta Service Center. It’s a 5 hour drive so I need a date to prepare lol
No, you'd have to buy 20" AS tires aftermarket and swap them onto the Black Sand rims. The Premium will have a 20" AS option, in addition to the same 21" AS option that's standard on the Performance, but they are not yet selling those wheels/tires.Anyway to get the Performance with 20s on All Season tires instead of AT?
Several years out of date, but I got my R1T in May of 2022 and it was several months before they delivered the spare. Didn’t delay the truck though.i asked someone in the showroom about adding the spare to the order vs getting it after the fact and what effect that might have on delivery and he said that they add them in the service centers and shouldn't effect timing. i took that with a giant, showroom employee sized grain of salt, but thought i'd throw out what someone told me. still think i will prob buy it on the side to make absolutely sure that doesn't slow anything down!
Did they call or email you? Or did it just give you the option to schedule in the app?Ah. Yea I’m not sure. My service center is 5 min from my house and I think I’m 1 of 2 here. But I got the delivery schedule about half an hr after I paid the down payment and everything.
They emailed me and texted me. I didn't have to schedule anything in the app. Only thing I said was pickup at the service center.Did they call or email you? Or did it just give you the option to schedule in the app?
I did all the steps including down payment yesterday but haven’t heard from anyone.
I completed all this a week ago, which in itself was several days after I got a VIN. All my completed documentation is still "in review" - I'm quite confident my R2 is still on route to FL.Did they call or email you? Or did it just give you the option to schedule in the app?

And you haven't heard anything from Rivian? No email/text from an advisor? Nothing?I completed all this a week ago, which in itself was several days after I got a VIN. All my completed documentation is still "in review" - I'm quite confident my R2 is still on route to FL.
You do not need to complete the steps to get a vin or delivery date. You do need to complete the steps a few days before your scheduled date or they will reschedule. VIN assigned 6/24, completed all signatures and steps that day except insurance and payment. Got my delivery appointment later that day for 7/15. 7 days before I uploaded my insurance showing it starts on 7/15, 5 days before I uploaded an image of my check to complete the steps. 4 days before my delivery was bumped from 7/15 to 7/19. Reason was a delay in the train delivery, they are supposed to get the vehicle at the SC on 7/17 and need time to prep. How soon after receiving your vin did you get your delivery date? I've completed all of the purchase steps besides the insurance, looking to set that up once I have a date. Did you have to complete every step before receiving your vin or just the finance/delivery portion?
